I've never heard that this site needs ActiveX plugins.. Please provide the 
detail information such as the URL

SharePoint uses loads of ActiveX Controls, like the DataGrid ActiveX 
{65BCBEE4-7728-41A0-97BE-14E1CAE36AAE}.  The DataGrid ActiveX supports editing 
lists in Grid View.

I have tested this plugin with SharePoint, it doesn't appear to do anything. 
SharePoint just displays the non-ActiveX version as if the plugin were not 
installed. If this PlugIn worked with SP, it would be fantastically useful and 
could easily develop a huge user base.

I support this request because I use sharepoint to work. And Google chrome is 
extremely faster than IE for this site.

isn't this a browser agent issue? i think that's how WSS determines which 
version of webpage to deliver

This extension does not work for Sharepoint 2007 in Chrome. The main active X 
feature I would like to see work is the multiple file upload.
