Date format #125

Date format is in the US format i.e. mm/dd/yyyy which isn't great for other
part of the world. Suggest either supporting localisation or preferably ISO
format i.e. yyyy/mm/dd.

You can enter your dates in the YYYY/mm/dd format. - Nicholas.

true - but the mm/dd/yyyy default presentation causes a couple of problems:
firstly
you need to either edit the entire record (rather than just the one number) or
think
through which # you want (it really is very unnatural for us non-US folks). and
secondly if you do support data export you can't sort by date unless it's ISO.

I realise that the first of these isn't an issue if you're American.

I'd like to see date format localisation too. It didn't really bother me until
I had to enter a large number of entries
today: the dd/mm/yyyy format is so ingrained that I was halfway through before
I realised I'd got months and
days the 'wrong' way around.
