Importing spreadsheets #5

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Used to be able to import small spreadsheets (say, from finance software
ouput)
2. Can't anymore

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Importing, even if via strict rules. Importing last time did not quite work
with my dataset. it listed
columns as separate items, not rows.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Newest; firefox/tiger

Please provide any additional information below.
Would be way cool for periodic updates to data securely stored elsewhere.

Import will absolutely return to the site, but the initial implementation was
too resource reliant. We also realize
that export is a must, and that option will appear in the near future as well.

I would love to see this, very simple CSV import of 3 fields: date, tag and
data.
