Hi, can you look for a file named lawena.0.0.log and give me a pastebin link to it? There's a number of things that can be wrong and the logfile will help us.
Thanks
http://pastebin.com/PLQTE08F Hope it helps, will be back on thread tomorrow.
Are you sure that is the whole file?
Can you give me more details like, at what part it stops doing anything:
I'm trying to find a way to reproduce your problem.
Basically, after I re-install the entire thing and launch it, it patches itself, etc, asks me to pick a folder for the saved takes. After that, nothing happens at all. it just wont start up, whatever I do. AKA 1.
Tried auto updating java, which is already up to date, I'll try to reinstall that as well, see if it works, recieved this hint earlier, I'll give it a shot.
Alright, the application is throwing an exception in a place where I forgot to catch it for logging.
Download this zipfile: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vimvfkg6z4dg0w5/lawena-preview-4.1.4-3-g322b255.zip
It's a full install of a preview version. Your error might still persist but now a record of it will be made on the logfile so I can understand it.
This version seems to be working, a thousand thanks, sir.
Nice, thanks for reporting. Reopen if needed
For some time now, I was unable to launch Lawena, the system shows signs of the process but nothing happens, even after a long while. I tried validating tf2 files, updating java (I had an up-to-date version), even re-downloading the files, but after the first configuration, and movies' folder selection, it just stopped doing anything. I have no clue how to solve this problem.
If there's a solution to this, I'd love to hear about it, all help's much appreciated. B.
