[x] mention who did which module
[x] Acknowledgments (including names of the students
[x] a bit more motivation (again from the proposal).
[x] think about the title - An introduction to modern tools for quantitative biologists -ish

Saw a quote on Twitter along the lines of 'no-one expects to become a computer scientist when they get into marine ecology'. Could dig that up for motivation, and also mention something about another field (genetics?) having tons of data nowadays (thanks to technological advances)?
