If I remember correctly, you need to use a compatible MATLAB version.

thanks a lot. it has been fixed after installing the extra toolboxs packages.
All has been working well, but recently I found that there is an error pops up immediately after starting the fitting routine:
"Error in script: averageDistance at line: 26 Undefined function 'gcp' for input arguments of type 'char'."
I use the last release of StatStem. The Matlab version is R2020b.
