My phone has number keys (LG Ally) - but all symbols are accessed via Alt key -
such as ":" and "\" - pretty important for DOS. But the Alt key doesn't seem
to affect the behavior of the key.
e.g. Alt-O should produce a ":", but it produces an "o".
Also, the Shift key doesn't seem to affect anything. e.g. Shift-O should
produce an "O", but it produces an "o".

Might want to look at issue 32, looks like dosbox passes leftalt+key through to
the app. So you are actually entering alt+e.
Same issue affects droid 1. I've heard of a keymap file or option, that may
solve this for you, but have not found out how to use it yet.

Experience the same problem on Motorola Backflip too. Not able to type any
number on the physical keyboard that requires Alt+q for 1, Alt+p for 0, etc
(namely the alternate side of the upper role of Qwerty keyboard).
This makes the game-play that requires numerical input as main control
impossible.
system: Motorola Backflip MB300
OS: Android 2.3.7 (CM7.2)
