remove (git and ant script induced) need for Dummy files #104

also addresses issue #89
tweak build.xml so it creates empty, git omitted, dirs required by the ant script build processing
remove all of the Dummy artifacts

@ddebrunner I'll leave it to you to do the merge if you're ok with these changes.

Thanks, and I thought it would cause issues for git status but git just ignores the empty directory tree.

FYI - I created a new Elcipse workspace after this merge and it has errors because it references source directories that no longer exist. I will fix the projects.
