11 years ago After rebooting the Aeon Nox skin appears in the skin options GUI, when clicking on it it starts and works fine. So, it seems to have problems initialising.

11 years ago I have seen this as well. If you choose "No" when asked to change after a skin is installed and then go and change it yourself it works. A first step would be to compare debug log between the two options: Choose Yes Choose No and enable it yourself

I can confirm it works, if any of you guys want to merge I'll leave it up to you ;)

11 years ago Would be nice to some where down the line just merge in all new xbmc changes that have been done since quarnster forked it. In this case it is an easy fix to just do the same change in our code, but I'm sure more stuff have been fixed :)

11 years ago Just merged the changes from xbmc to my branch. Is building as I type this, will see if it works out of the box or if there is problems. If I get it to work I will push it to my fork and maybe you can test it too?

11 years ago I was going to suggest merging the xbmc github yesterday but figured I'd pick a few fixes which address some of the issues we have been getting first. I think they are working towards a alpha 8 release and may even bump ffmpeg 1.2 to version 2.0. @SpaceOgre I got a bit of time today so will try your merged build.

11 years ago Great job. Just testing now, just noticed audio through HDMI is now working, (some people reported distorted sound with it enabled, myself included). Blank video problem may be fixed too, just testing intensively for that as that's probably the most annoying issue for me.

Your build is with latest xbmc git updates?

11 years ago About the same, I use liveleaks and disclosure.tv video apps to test. The issue occurs for no apparent reason, sometimes a clip will play first time, other times it plays the second time.

11 years ago I have tested for a short while now and felt it was good enough to at least push it to my git repository. So if you want to build on your own just clone it :)
And yes this issue is now fixed with that code update, but not delivered so not closing it yet.
