Seems to be not... easily solvable: https://github.com/ferreusveritas/DynamicTrees/issues/112
The munchdew makes the fundamental assumption that leaves do not regrow, which simply isn't how Dynamic Trees works. It's not something silly like oh, Botania is removing the leaf block incorrectly. The ideas themselves do not mesh. When this bug was described to me I was expecting something like, the munchdew eats a leaf and Dynamic Trees instantly puts it back in the same/next tick. It's not nearly that bad.
What would the solution be anyways, somehow create an area of effect that Dynamic Trees is not allowed to place leaves in? That sounds absolutely lovely for performance and not a massive headache at all, lol :)
Botania Tweaks includes an option to make every flower a passive flower, and I'd suggest to modpack developers worried about "the munchdew exploit" here that they allow the munchdew to decay. That means you have to autocraft and place them to fully automate mana from them, making them essentially a more viable, more expensive Hydroangeas.
Open to suggestions here though.
from someone on curseforge. Supposedly dynamic trees grow really fast/don't fully break leaves or something, which makes the munchdew ez cheez
