17.12.0-rc6 #316

Top level issue tracker for any blocking issues discovered with 17.12.0-rc6. Unfortunately rc5 was lost at sea.

Nightlies have been failing on CentOS 7 since October, this seems to be because we have not been installing EPEL, which is strange (it should never have worked). Fixed in #317, will release final if all builds pass tonight.

Forced dailies ran fine this afternoon, so looking good for final tomorrow.
