Motivation/Description ⛰️

We need to settle on an STM32 chip to be used for the ADCS MCU. The decision needs to consider the following constraints:

Power:

System has limited power, consult with EPS for definitive answers, but the chip should be as efficient and low power as possible

IO:

The chip needs to be able to connect and communicate to all sensors and actuators:
- Sun Sensors
- IMU (+ Magnetometer if needed)
- Magnetorquers
- Reaction Wheels
The chip needs to communicate with OBC. Confirm with @jillianmalherbe on what communication method we will use

Ease of use:

We need to design and build this system quickly, so anything that has good documentation or has been used on the team previously with work we can leverage is preferable.

Next Steps 🚶

[x] Consult with @jillianmalherbe as to what they were using, recommendations?
[x] Research STM32 chips considering the above constraints and OBC recommendations
[x] Make decision as to what chip to use
[ ] Update all ADCS MCU documentation when a decision has been made. Include rational as to why this chip was chosen.
[ ] Begin process of procuring chips.

https://www.opensourcesatellite.org/downloads/KS-DOC-01251_STM32H7_Radiation_Test_Report.pdf This board, STM32H753, went through radiation testing and may be within our mission parameters. You may just need to figure out which how eradiated a board gets for our mission timeline.
