EPS Sub-System FlatSat #2

Description

A "flatsat" is a 2D layout of sub-system modules with corresponding connectors and harnessing.
All components of the EPS sub-system will be laid out onto a test plate and simulated as though they are in orbit.
Example of a flatsat built by SFL here.

Implementation Ideas 💡

Allow to switch battery input between battery itself and a bench-top power supply.
Allow to switch solar panel input between a solar panel itself and a bench-top power supply simulation.

Dimensions 📏

[x] Compile dimensions of ClydeSpace EPS Module
[x] Compile dimensions of EPS batteries.
[x] Compile dimensions of EPS solar array.

Test Plate 🍽️

[x] Complete a layout of an aluminum test plate to contain all EPS sub-system parts with thru-holes to secure parts.
[x] Include handles to move the enclosure safely.
[ ] Review proposed FlatSat layout.
[ ] Send completed layout to MECH team for fabrication.
[ ] Glue ESD mat to the test plate and ground.

Harnessing 🔌

[ ] Compile mating connectors of all sub-system components.
[ ] Create harnessing drawings to connect all subsystem components.

Completion Criteria 💯

All EPS components laid out on a test plate.
Ability to switch battery input modes
Ability to switch solar panel input mode between solar cell and simulation

@SeanTedesco The initial layout is ready for review. Teams > Satellite-Power > CSDC 2022 > QSAT FlatSat RevA

The thing we have to be a little careful about is mounting a mating PC/104 connector to the test plate.
