Are there any plans to include this (very useful stuff) in the official arduino distribution, and specifically in the debian packages?

Personally, I would love to have this bundled with the Arduino SDK!

I haven't talked with any of the Arduino developers yet, and I'm not even sure who to contact... Arduino 1.5 suport still not implemented, and I think it will be some time before I get that done (I have not had any free time for the last couple of months).
