We talked about this extensively many years ago now, and I think pretty much came to the conclusion that audio was generally best handled with tools outside of Quelea - and that was before the likes of spotify etc. became popular. I'm not sure if the popularity of cloud music services changes our stance at all - I'm not against investigating it in principle, but in practice we'd likely have to support a lot of separate music providers to provide a complete functionality, which is a lot of work to code & maintain.
That, plus the relative ease of just using those programs separately means I'm afraid it's probably not going to be high up on the priority list.
I did some exploring, and I saw way back when, you said that people don't do a whole lot of music from files (I'm sure that's never been more true), and what if you added a way to control the music through Quelea from Spotify (or Apple Music, whatever else), like what you did with PowerPoint, not run from Quelea, just run through Quelea, some sort of remote control button that would activate the computer play/pause function to control the desktop app. like a app built in song info thingy like the windows one (see attached) Thanks
