feature - make pencil marks at the start of the game

A feature that I would like is for the game to pencil marks for all the squares 
at the start. That is, if I play on a 4x4 board, I would like each square to 
have pencil marks for 1 2 3 4.
This would really make playing on large boards more convenient.

I didn't get in to making it an option, but I set it up as a "if(true)..."  if 
someone else wants to incorporate it.  Attached is a patch file that will have 
all pencil marks at the start
