I would like more variety in the animations. It would be nice to have an animation that increases the size of the avatar when talking, and one that shakes the avatar rather than just bouncing up and down.

I would like to have a couple pre-made animations that I can choose from.

The only alternative currently is to change the animation in the source code and export your own version of the program.
