I'm sorry but this bug won't be fixed.
This is because chrome and firefox, especially firefox relies on Windows API
for matrix, a matrix that perfect fit cleartype hinted glyph outline, while
MacType draws glyphs without hinting if you required. As you know, glyphs
without hinting are always bigger then hinted ones, so firefox will cut bitmaps
with ClearType standard, causing cutout of tall letters.
The problem is that if I increase Windows matrix to solve this issue, firefox
will looks better but many other apps will be messed up. So far as I know,
Google picasa and java console are two of the problematic programs.
If you ever installed MacType 2012.0405 version, you will find that this
version is firefox friendly, and if you care about this issue seriously and
won't use these known buggy apps, you can have a try.

I solved this in Firefox by forcing the font to Segoe UI and decreasing the
size. Some sites still have this issue but most of them looks nice now, the
downside is that none of the sites have their original fonts now but I don't
care ;)
Keep up the good work!
