Adds a mount point to be used by endpoints for recording logs.

@marten-seemann : Yes, I figured that the log files can be named with implementation tags to avoid conflict. Do you prefer different directories? I don't have a strong opinion here, and I'm happy to add different points for client and server.

No, that was just a clarification question. I think having the same mount point will be ok.
