I think Quicksilver is trying to make the message files look useful in the interface (because normally they wouldn't be) and it's going wrong somewhere. The version of Mail I'm on (6.6) seems to have rearranged things, so I can't really test.
What are you trying to do? Are you aware that you can get to all your mail be selecting Mail.app and hitting → or /? (It can be slow, though.)
Hello Skurfer Thanks for your response,
Right i'am trying to get all mails by clicking Mail.app and hitting → or /?. But the Inbox and the other Boxes are empty. I want to browse mails.
Can you run this command in Terminal and tell me what it says?
ls -1 ~/Library/Mail/V2
Feel free to replace any actual usernames and server names in the output with dummy values. I just need to see the pattern.
I couldn't see any problems with the format of your account name, but I noticed the /home
prefix and re-read the original message. The plug-in uses Spotlight to locate messages. (It's the most reliable way, since the folder structure is complicated and always changing.) Spotlight won't work on an NFS volume.
Hello there,
at the beginning i want to say thanks for your help.
I'm trying to catalog my mail directory "Library/Mail/V2/IMAPmy-email@mailbox.de/INBOX.mbox/1D891E84-32A7-4CFC-9630-45AE7BFA4EC8/Data/Massages ". My Home directory is mounted via NSF. This folder contains all the e-mail in my INBOX. The Email files named .emlx .
Problem: When ever i try to do this, Quicksilver crashes with following error report. Adding other Directories does not cause this crash.
Best regards Pascal
