Several more optimisations to speed up searching/general usage of QS.
The NSZeroRect change along gives a decent speed boost (to icon drawing). The rest are pretty simple changes. Once this is merged, I'll probably do a third and final round of optimisations. Instruments.app is so handy :)
I think we're sufficiently ready to make a 2.1.0 release - I think this can go in there
