Before submitting your bug report, please confirm you have completed the following steps

Bug description

After upgrading to Monterey (MacOS 12.3) clipboard history is misbehaving - only first item is visible on the list, however if i scroll down the older items are getting displayed so it's hard to use number shortcuts since i don't see the actual content and always have to scroll down to display it. When the clipboard history is opened and I copy something new into clipboard, all items re-appear on the history list and will be displayed even if i close and re-open the clipboard history. The list gets hidden when the clipboard history window is closed and i copy a new item into clipboard. QuickSilver was installed from homebrew (brew install quicksilver), and then, after the issue occured, i updated it (directly from the App).

Steps to reproduce

  1. Copy first item into clipboard

  2. Copy second item into clipboard

  3. Open clipboard history - only single (second) item is visible at the top (at first position, with shortcut "1") : image

  4. Scroll down and the items will start re-appear: image

Expected behavior

  1. Copy first item into clipboard
  2. Copy second item into clipboard
  3. Open clipboard history - all items should be visible

MacOS Version

macOS 12

Quicksilver Version

2.3.0 (4038)

Screenshots

  1. after copying a few items into clipboard: image

  2. after taking screenshot of the issue (when the clipboard history was up front): image

  3. after closing the window, copying new items into clipboard i opened the history again (only one item was visible at first, then i pressed down arrow 4 times - each next item got revealed on each move: image

Additional info

QuickSilver was installed from homebrew (brew install quicksilver), and then, after the issue occured, i updated it (directly from the App). The issue originally occurred while QS was on version 1.6.1.

For step number 3:

Open clipboard history - only single (second) item is visible at the top (at first position, with shortcut "1") :

Can you clarify how you are opening the clipboard? E.g. using the ⌘L shortcut, or hovering over the edge to open the clipboard?

I have a custom trigger with my own shortcuts that runs "Execute Show Clipboard" command. It behaves this same way if i open the clipboard via cmd+L.

I'm having the same issue, using ⌘L shortcut. Clicking the gear and then selecting history on Clipboard History will also restore the list, but only once.

Experiencing the same thing, also on Monterrey, 12.4 for me. I installed manually, not via Homebrew, and I'm also using a custom trigger, though Cmd L displays same behavior. Searching "Clipboard history" and hitting enter gives all the history items in the Quicksilver search results, none hidden.

Experiencing the same, on macOS 12.4. re-installing the plugin doesn't resolve the issue.

I recently migrated to a new M1 MacBook (originally I experienced this problem on Intel based machine). Fresh system (12.3), quicksilver installed via homebrew - same issue exists.

I have the same issue. macOS 12.5, quicksilver v2.4.0 (4039) installed via Homebrew. After opening the clipboard history with cmd-L if I click on or arrow down to subsequent lines the text appears, but not before. Once the text appears in the list it will continue to do so until the next item is copied to clipboard.

I started experiencing this bug when I updated QS to 2.x. The stack seems to be fine, I can still paste from the older clipboard history using the Cmd+number shortcuts, but they're invisible in the UI. Scrolling the open history doesn't work for me, but resizing it or selecting another option from the gear icon dropdown does cause the stack to reappear.

but resizing it or selecting another option from the gear icon dropdown does cause the stack to reappear. I confirm - resizing the open history window causes the items to reappear for me as well

same behaviour on MacOS 10.14.6, installed per download (2.4.1 via auto-update), using cmd L, no custom trigger
