[Bug]: Calculator plugin input text obscured in the Flashlight interface

Bug description

Inputting text for the Calculator plugin using the Flashlight interface leads to the following situation:

The input text can't be seen, which makes the plugin nearly unusable.

Steps to reproduce

1. Using the Flashlight interface, hit = to activate text entry for the Calculator
2. Type anything, e.g. 1+1

Expected behavior

The text input field should position/expand itself and the input text so that the input is visible
