In theory, I think it does. The state progresses from Enemy's Castle -> Neutral Castle -> Your Castle. Unfortunately, that case never came up in our game because as soon as your last castle becomes neutral, you lose. Personally, I think you shouldn't lose until all of the castles are owned by the other player, giving you an extra turn.
That doesn't change the fact that it might be better to have Castle-capturing units.
Yes, it does. In a game on the map I made "Capture the Hill" with a a group of neutral forts, they got my castle from blue -> neutral.
Ah ok i didn't realize that. But in our game the win was legit since i didn't have a castle nor any troops, wich makes it impossible for me too win

It would be good if it took more than one turn to capture a castle. It would also add a lot of strategy if only certain units could capture castles, or if it takes longer for certain units than for others. Capturing an enemys castle should take longer than capturing a neutral one.
