Why closed source? #12

In the spirit of the modding community, most mod authors choose to make their mods open source - both for easier bug tracking and for community input. I'm just curious why you've chosen to not release your code.

There is source code avaliable under this respository for 1.20.1 and 1.20.4, though what your referring to is making the mod at least visible source not all open source licenseses require people to publish the source code to their changes online.

As for older versions, they will remain private, anyone is free to take the compiled code, decompile it, clean it up and publish it where ever they want, given the code itself is MIT licensed atm, however those rights aren't provided for other assets included in the mod distribution.

As for why I'm not doing so myself, simply because the old buildscript is horrible, and well the commit history contains old aliases I'd rather not be known by.
