Chests won't connect when using carry on mod #15

I'm using the carry on mod along with this one and for some reason whenever I pick up a netherite chest and place it next to another one, they won't connect

If your holding shift and not looking at a side of the chest you intend to connect to then this is intended behaviour.

If you aren't holding shift then please provide what version of minecraft you are using, what version of carry on and which mod loader your using.

I tested on 1.20.4 and the issue doesn't appear for me with just Expanded Storage and Carry On.

Sorry for the long delay for a reply, I've been taking quite the hiatus from Minecraft projects to focus on my personal life.
