It might be interesting to explore how OCR tools do with bilingual PDFs such as this collection of these literacy campaign handbooks the Summer Institute of Linguistics did for indigenous communities in Mexico.

Also this collection of a clandestine periodical during the Guerrilla Movement in Mexico could be something interesting to explore. I know there are just too many collections out there, but I just thought it doesn't hurt to try :)
