Energy Mixer not updating on IE9 #231

Just was visiting a teacher who was checking the Energy Mixer using Internet Explorer 9. The page was loading, but when clicking on an answer the new numbers didn't come in (saw the loading icon there forever). Seems the connection with ET-Engine was not established, or that the answers never got back to the client. Is this a problem with IE9, or could it just have been a firewall issue or something?

Fixed. The local_proxy setting was "false" on the server; I have also updated the sample config file. IE ≤9 needs this to be enabled due to incomplete support for Cross-Origin Resource Sharing.
