[Bug] unable to enter nether #269

What happened?

When I attempt to go into my nether portal, it wont teleport me for some reason. It just plays the swirling animation.

I saw others having problems with this too and followed troubleshooting steps in the comments, and it worked. I did lose all the items in my inv but thats alr, just a fair warning

That sounds like you accidentally replaced your player data along with the level data, definitely didn't happen to me when I did it
