Hello,

I would like to use BLCA for taxonomic classification of 18S rRNA data. Would you recommend to use higher confidence score thresholds for lower taxonomical levels (family, genus, species)?

We have not done any benchwork evaluating 18S confidence score, but I would stay with 0.8 (or 80%).
