Utilizing Quran.com’s Arabic Quran text database for textual research

Salaamun Aleykum Quran.com Team,

I would like to utilize Quran.com’s Arabic Quran text database for some textual research insha’Allah. It will involve running manual queries against the database. What would be your recommended approach for doing so? Should I download the text directly and create a database out of it or utilize your API’s or some other way to go about it?

@azzamsa Thank you for sharing the links to Al Quran cloud. Does quran.com have similar API's or the ability to download the Quran text file too?

it has, but the "media" is not allowed to be downloaded.

I got you. By “media” are you referring to images? If so that’s ok as I’m not interested in the images. Can the Unicode text be downloaded?

Salam @metekural you can use v4 api https://quran.api-docs.io/v4

V4 is lightweight and configurable. You can fetch the specific fields you need for all resources. Feel free to store/cache the text. You can't store the word-by-word audio though.
