Meem #372

I don't know the rules about how to write Quranic Letters. I found it hard to read the Meem Letter in the Word Asmau in Surah 7:180 (Surah Al A'raf) and on other sides I saw the Meem more closed. I don't know how the Quranic Writing can be written but I wanted to let you

I assume you mean the following word: 7_180

On the top right of the page you will see a settings box. Click it then:

you can also try other fonts. AFAIK, this shape of the meem is not specific to Quran, it is one of the possible shapes that you can use for a meem in the middle of the word, and it is relatively easy for hand-writing. جزاكم الله خيرا

* Go to `Select font`

* Pick `King Fahd Quran Complex v2`

you can also try other fonts. AFAIK, this shape of the meem is not specific to Quran, it is one of the possible shapes that you can use for a meem in the middle of the word, and it is relatively easy for hand-writing. جزاكم الله خيرا

What brother benomaire wrote here is correct, this kind of meem is just a way of writing it, one of the fonts and not specific to the Quran itself. However, I hope some of the other fonts available there can be more clear to you.
