Thank you for the report! Meanwhile, you can change the font or use the new website (which does not feature this font at the moment): https://next.quran.com

@whatsadebugger jazakAllah kharain for reporting this, can you please send steps to reproduce this, and URL?

I tried reproducing this on the surah page, switched to reading mode, changed to font to v2. Tried juz and page view, changed the font v1, v2 but couldn't reproduce it.

I can reproduce:

  1. go to https://quran.com/55
  2. switch to reading mode
  3. select the font "Uthmani Text"
  4. scroll down. now you see the following screenshot:

Oh nice @benomaire thanks for helping reproduce that.

Also the king fahd text has the issue. Here is the URL. Tried different browsers same thing. https://quran.com/55/1-78?font=uthmani&reading=true&start=55%3A17. image

I think the font: "King Fahd Quran Complex v1" shown in your latest screenshot is fine. Why? because the current UI has a bug where the name of the font sometimes does not match the displayed font. To see this:

  1. Go to https://quran.com/55/1-78?font=uthmani&reading=true&start=55%3A17 (your suggested link)
  2. You see that "King Fahd Quran Complex v1" is selected (But this is incorrect)
  3. Choose any other font and then choose "King Fahd Quran Complex v1" again
  4. Now you see "King Fahd Quran Complex v1" used for the text:

5102

The next interface is free of this bug. So only "Uthmani Text" has the issue of shifted Ayah text. والله أعلم
