There are many problems related to "AARAB" in almost all the surah's specifically to mention here is Surah Mulk #898

Assalam o Alaikum,

It is to bring in your kind notice that I read Surah Mulk on quran.com and found some mistakes in AARAB's and the most common are as highlighted in the images. 1_1 1

Also some last verses from surah MULK

2_2 2

What I feel is that proof reading has not been done as this misleads the verse meanings which is prohibited strictly.

Please spare some time, make it offline immidiately and hire some mufti or hafiz for proof reading first.

May ALLAH guide us all.

Its a great effort from you indeed but it needs to be 100% perfect as all available printed QURAN books throughout the world have same "AARABS".

wa'alaykumus salaam brother. this is actually not a mistake. there are two mushaf scripts basically i think - uthmanic and indopak. in the web and iOS, they have included only uthmanic one.

but for android they have separate app for separate mushafs. you can try their naskh app on android in sha Allah, which contains indopak mushaf

Assalam o Alaikum,

Dear Brother, Thank you for increasing my knowledge I checked the uthmanic and indopak and found it the same as on your site. One question: Is it proof read by a "HAFIZ"

Please add Indo Pak version too so that people like me may not find it as a mistake and highlight it.

JAZAK ALLAH

wa3laikum alsalam, the Uthamni version we use comes from King Fahad Quran Complex, and they are responsible for printing Quran copies throughout the Muslim world.

as for adding a Naskh version, cc @naveed-ahmad who was working on this at some point. walsalam 3alaikum.

I'm facing issues splitting ayah into words, indopak and utmani script both have different pause marks. And fonts we're using are making things more tough, as this font consider pause marks a different word. Now we have to:

I tried this few month back, but need to manually review each ayah which is time consuming :( Here is word by word indopak with many issues: https://github.com/naveed-ahmad/Quran-text

One day inshAllah.

Assalamu alaikum brother @naveed-ahmad, we're also trying to make your indopak db into wbw in our app (Al Quran from Greentech) we are almost done, Alhamdulillah except for some issues. we can collaborate inshaAllah.

naveed-ahmad commented 6 years ago

Wa Alakim o Salam @Ysajid mashAllah brother. Yeah we should collaborate on both wbw Urdu translation as well as word by word indopak script.

I suggest we close this issue as the original issue is not a bug
