وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته yeah, we don't try to center the ayah on the screen in landscape - we only go to the top of the ayah. i think this is better than centering, because centering makes it difficult for longer ayahs as you mentioned. you can scroll in landscape mode to see what's missing - what would you expect here? والسلام عليكم
Since we all are trying our best to give the Quran app the absolute best user experience possible, the app should always make sure of the part being read to never be off screen.
Agree, but what can we do here? If you consider ayat al dayn for example, it's a full page. If we shrink the page down, you wouldn't be able to read any of it.
There's a way to lock the phone to portrait if this bothers you, but many people prefer landscape for the larger text size and scroll as needed.
Me too, prefer landscape over portrait for it's larger text size, so we better find a way to controle the read part of the Aya to never be off screen.
for audio playback, one day we should be able to do this in sha' Allah - but not for normal reading though
closing for now.
السلام عليكم و رحمة الله وبركاته
When Landscape mode the app doesn't automatically centre long Aya on screen, when comming from previous Aya, although the issue efffecting many Ayas, around 85.
For example Ayat 177 Surah Al-Baqarah, it doesn't show it's last 2 lines.
But the bigger issue is when the long Aya is in the middle of the page, like with Aya 185 same Surah, it shows first 2 lines and keeps the other 5 hidden.
