Hello,

When opening the app, and trying to play Surat al kahf, it always start the recitation at the top of the page, can this be fixed?

Steps to reproduce:

1. open quran_android
2. surah browser
3. go to surah number 18, surat al kahf
4. click the play button at the bottom left of the screen
5. it will play from the top of the page surat maryam, and not begin at surat al kahf ayah 1. (bug?)

Salam.

That behavior is intentional: if you press play button without selecting any ayah, the playback starts from the beginning of a page.

If you want to start the playback from a certain ayah, long press that ayah (in your given example, long press on the first ayah of surah Al-Kahf) and choose play button from the context menu.

I can't reproduce the bug. When I click play button, the app will show dialog to choose between playing from the beginning of the page or from surah al-Kahf
