Hussein, may you take a look at this insha'Allah?
@ahmedre i will check it out en shaa Allah.. @stankovski does this occur in sa3di, ibn kather and muyassar ?
I haven't checked by I can inshaAllah. The one I'm talking about is in quran.ar.db file used for "Showing Arabic in Translation" and search.
ASA, any updates on this? By the way, it's not happening in any Arabic tafaseer. On a side note for some reason I'm not able to open sa3di tafseer using SQLite (outside of the app). Is it in a different format?
salam 3alaikum, it should be using sqlite3 justl ike the rest of the databases... ping @hmaher regarding the bug. walsalam 3aliakum.
sorry for not updating this in ages, but i checked and this is ok - it's basically because the arabic (in quran.ar.db) is imlaei arabic (the written style of arabic that you'd write today), whereas the images are uthmani style. hence often times, words maybe spelled differently between the two views.
ASA,
The Arabic text in translation has a common bug (?) where all hamza with fatha followed by alif are stored in sqlite database to alif with madd. Example surah Taha ayah 114 - word quraan.
