Open DVD Disc ? How? #276

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I cannot open a DVD Disc
2. command D (open Disc) is NOT availabe in any menus
3. VLC does have such a command to open DVD discs

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using version Movist 0.6.8 and also commercial version 1.1.0 from 
AppleStore

It seems to me obvious that a wonderful media Player should be able to do the 
easiest tasks, such as open and read DVD Discs...Otherwise shall I need to rip 
all my 2,000+ DVD discs into a ISO or AVI file to read them?
