1.99.6 no file association #531

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Open KeePass database file (.kdb file extension) in file manager. I tried FX
file manager and also DropBox application. I believe both use some kind of
system file associations because when I try to open my .kdb file in any of
these applications some system menu with a list of applications shows up. Of
course it was not the very same file, I use FX file explorer to open the local
copy. But normally I don't use the local copy of password database, I open it
from DropBox application instead, so it downloads the file and opens it and
then updates it in the online storage in case I make any changes.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
After I updated the KeePassDroid application to the latest version, I don't see
KeePassDroid in the list of applications when clicking the file. I see only
Adobe Reader and some File Manager. They were present in the application list
for .kdb files before. And it's inconvenient because I highly doubt that Adobe
Reader has anything to do with .kdb files. I understand that perhaps it's not
your fault (I mean KeePassDroid developer in case he reads this). But now I
can't open .kdb files at all because after 1.99.6 update it disappeared from
the menu... which is being shown when I open .kdb files. Only Adobe Reader and
"File Manager" items are somehow present now... I hope I made it clear. Thank
you for your attention.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
KeePassDroid 1.99.6; Android 4.0.3;

Please provide any additional information below.
I can open only local .kdb files from KeePassDroid application; I can't open
files from DropBox cloud storage like this; a file association is needed for
this to function properly...

Same here.
Due to recent used history broken (Issue 526), i have the choice to set a
"shortcut" (in fact a widget of Total Commander) to link/open a KDB archive
directly from the home screen... Unfortunately, i can't open KDB files. If i
try with TC's "file association" to set up KDB files and Keepass, nothing is
shown on to the dropbox list...
