I can not see the new entries in updated file. #659

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.I make new entries in Keepass on the PC. kdbx is saved to DropBox.
2.The file with new entries will open on any other PC.
3.On the android devices, Keepassdroid will open the kdbx just like before. But
now it does not show the new entries.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In the past all I had to do is open the file directly from Dropbox once, and
from then one KeePassDroid would have, and open, the newest data. But now I
just get the old entries.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
KeePassDroid Ver 1.99.10 / Samsung S3 / Android 4.3.

Please provide any additional information below.
I Rebooted the phone, cleared the cashe on the phone, uninstalled then re
installed keePassDroid, and oth checked and unchecked the "Recent file history"
in KeePassDroid settings.

Exact same problem, exact same setup down to phone model. Only difference is, I
am using .kdb not .kdbx. Will see if I can produce a small test file to
illustrate in the coming couple of days.

Yep, I can confirm that for my setup, too.

Add entries on a laptop with Keepass 2.25, save locally and store it in my
dropbox. Download the database again, open it and everything is fine.

Download the same db file to max Samsung Galaxy S3 with Android 4.3 and the new
entries are not shown nor are they found by searching for them. And I know,
that the file is correct, since the size nearly doubled (I added many entries
:-))

Hi, it's me again..

I have to admit, it was my or the dropbox android apps fault..

I played a bit with dropbox and older and new databases. Retrieving the
database under linux with keepass for mono worked like a charme. Downloading
the db to another directory and opening manually worked, too. Even with android.

Only opening the db via the dropbox android app didn't work, even after
clearing the cache from the apps settings menu.

BUT: after removing the "favorite" flag from the db file and clearing the cache
a second time, the db was fully retrieved and showed all my new entries.

So, from my point of view, I'd say "Case closed", Keepassdroid is clean.
Dropbox app has a problem and needs further investigation.

Bye.

#3 is right. Clearing dropbox cache fixed the problem.

+1 to closing this issue, keepassdroid not the culprit, dropbox is.
