Same Issue.

1. Can sign-in to Db and access all exsisting entries.
2. Cannot add any new entries while receiving the same error stated above.

Found same error reported with a solution. Problem: .kdb file resides on SD
card memory. Copy .kdb file to internal memory. Start accessing the .kdb file
from internal mamory location. Worked for me.

Tried solution #3 without success. File type error when trying to load file
w/.kdb extension. Does Keepass Droid v. 1.99 have an issue?

I want it on external memory so when phone becomes a brick I have my data
backed up to removable storage. I think the issue is with Android 4.4.2.
