When you download it from the Releases, and you dezip... install... and you find that you can't open it.
I find the solution(which is also mentioned in Stackoverflow):
Find you terminal, open it.
cd to the root directory and then cd to Applications
do chmod -R 755 VimR.app(or your app name)
reopen it, it says it's broken and is downloaded without a date. Don't be scared. Go to Settings -> Privacy...., scroll down, Security, click Enable/Allow/... button, and click Open twice. And you can use in theory.
Note: The names that I mentioned in step 4 are inaccurate. The names depends on the language of your MacOS System.
