Some (bold?) characters are not rendered using the font defined #892

I found bold characters are not rendered using the font set in the preference window.

Is there anything I am missing?

I found a similar issue with the Iosevka font. Weirdly enough, going one size up or down for the font size, fixes the problem. For me size 14 was problematic, but not 13 or 18.
