SIGE has commited a change in QWAT forms that are now designed using drag an drop forms and no more QT designer UI files.

It is asked to push that work in the demo project.

Cool, I had also tried to go that way, but I stumbled upon https://github.com/qwat/QWAT/issues/217 so I'm still using UI files for performance.
