In addition of c52 on c51, shared fusion table from personal account to a
domain account makes sense for one or two fusion tables, but not for a dozen
and it is nonsensical for more.
- Most important reason : there is no capability to duplicate the document once
shared (while one can do it with other documents).
- For all documents, there is no way to transfer the proprietary membership
from an external user (personal account) to one of the domain and viceversa. No
need to say it is for obvious reasons.
Even if one has very few fusion tables, if those are complex enough (large sets
of data and configurations), it will just become a mess to administrate, update
or else in a medium to long term perspective.
I hope the feature will be available soon with the new GUI.

This is a great tool I've been using on my personal gmail account and just
assumed this would be available on my company's app services that I promoted
them to move to 2-3 years ago. Would love to know when this will be available,
a good database system is an essential backbone component to a company's
arsenal of technology.

It is quite inconvenient to have to manage a separate google account just for a
handful of features not available to GAFYD.
Regardless of who you make it available to, people are going to find a
workaround so why not just make it available to businesses directly.

This took me four hours of "googling " to learn that my two paid apps accounts
do not suport fusion tables. This doesnt make sense to me. Google is already
allowing all my users to access "unsupported" apps and other features (if and
when the admin decides to release them for the users) So why not treat this
"beta" fusion release as an unsupported feature which the admin can turn on or
of per user?

This works for me:
1) Create a Fusion Table within free Google account
2) Share edit permissions to a Google Apps for Business account
3) Open the shared file with the Google Apps for Business account
4) From the shared Fusion Table: File -> New Table...
Newly created Fusion Tables have Google Apps for Business account ownership and
are visible within Google Drive files ;-)

Fusion Tables has not been enabled by the administrator of the domain

You can sign into another account to use Fusion Tables.

@gregor I suspect it may have to do with when you started using the business
domain. We just started about 6 months ago, after fusion tables were
discontinued for the business domains. How old is the domain that is working
for you? Maybe it's an account that fusion tables were enabled for at one time.

I just switched two of my companies over to Google Apps for Business and was
VERY surprised to see that Fusion Tables were not available. We use Fusion
tables for many things. We have code to track users to our websites via IP
geolocation, we use it to build and store data tables and I have developed a
relation model that I used to do online software activation from our web site
and from a Facebook application.
I really hate reverting back to the personal account to access tables. I see
there is a new interface that is inline with the new interfaces for the other
Google apps. Please, please make it available for business apps users.
My domains are drinkredux.com and rectiphy.com. I really need tables enabled.
Willing to beta.
