Push to/Pull from Google Calendars and Spreadsheets #1052

I would LOVE more connectivity to other Google Applications. I would love to
pull from/push to a cell in a Google Spreadsheet I had, I would love to output
my Fusion Table data to Multiple Google Calendars...

I use the data sort options to view by teacher, view by date-range, view by
classroom, etc. to check for conflicts in a mocked-up schedule. I'd love it
if I could then say "Make Joe's calendar! Make Sue's Calendar" once finished.
This app is SEVERELY limited by the mapping feature which seems to be at it's
core. That's a cool feature, but there are a LOT more uses for small,
flexible, simple databases. And even more for ones that play well with
spreadsheets and calendars...

Thanks for the detailed explanation! I've forwarded to the team so they can
better understand what you have in mind.
I think you could do a bit of what you're hoping for using AppsScript.

As it looked as a cool challenge, I've completed it here:

https://github.com/fontanon/google-fusiontables2calendar

It provides a configuration file making it easier for everybody to put their
settings.
