Filter map points using polygon region selection tool #1435

What new feature would you like to see implemented? How will you use it?

It would be super awesome and helpful to be able to have the ability to get
counts and sums of data points in a given region of the map. For example, if I
see on my Fusion Table heat map that a specific area has sales density it would
be cool to be able to draw a polygon region or circle region around a specific
area and then see the totals for the data points. This tool would make it much
quicker to visually sum and count areas that need to be honed in on the map.

Hope this makes sense! Thanks Google Team for bring us the AWESOMNESS of
Fusion Tables. Please keep developing more cool features.

Peace out!
