Export charts and map views as images #1455

I love the Google Sheets and other Google apps as they allow me to do many
things in the cloud. I still prefer native MS Office however whenever I am near
a computer.
Anyway, I use Google Apps (and MS Office) for a variety of things, one of which
is analyzing data and creating charts and graphs. Often these charts are for
assignments or publication purposes. When used for publications, invariably the
journal has a requirement concerning the file-type and resolution of the images
you can submit, typically 300dpi. As a standard screenshot (on a PC at least)
requires pasting into some other program, usually these images do not fit the
requirements. Hence it would be nice to export images directly and natively
from Google Sheets and/or Fusion Tables, Documents, Presentations, etc. For
example I just completed a fusion table project for a course that required
plotting standardized pay and migration data on a color-coded map of the United
States. We are required to submit screenshots, which I can do, but I would
prefer to export images directly from Fusion Table as I feel the images would
be nicer. If this were for a medical journal the screenshots would not be
acceptable.

Thank you
