Handle European formatted numbers

What new feature would you like to see implemented? How will you use it?
The ability to format a number column to handle european style number formats, 
XXX.XXX.XXX,00 instead of US format which is XXX,XXX,XXX.00

Hey, I like to ask if this new feature is already implemented? If not, do you 
have a workaround?
