This script finds the master page and creates as many pages with that master page as the number of records in a VALID csv file and creates documents by importing csv data. Each page of the document contains data corresponding to a tuple in the csv file.

Hello,

Can this script be used with multi-page documents?

Suppose we have a letter that has two or more pages long...

I would like to use this to merge addresses with a multi-page self-mailing brochure.

Hello,

I would like to understand the requirement better. Please answer these questions:

  1. Will you have "tags" to be replaced of more than one page per letter?
  2. Will there be "linked" text boxes with text flowing across pages?
  3. Do you only want the PDFs for the letters? Or you need the native QuarkXPress file after mail merge?
  4. If you need the native file, will it be OK to create each letter as a separate layout in the same QuarkXPress project file?

No.

Yes.

Do you only want the PDFs for the letters? Or you need the native QuarkXPress file after mail merge?

PDFs would be fine.
